Suggestion: Hide multiple choice answers until mouseover or keystroke

As with my previous suggestion, this one would help practice translation by not giving us three pre-translated options. Let us ponder the sentence in our mind before we see three options. This way perhaps one wouldn't be tempted to just pick out a keyword and pick the right answer based on that.

This might not be a great idea for timed quizzes, but for run-of-the-mill multiple choice questions I think it would be a great addition.

Even if it's something you allow us to toggle ourselves. No need to make it mandatory.

Thanks for the feedback. We're making some updates to translations that will be out in the near future.

I think the suggestion is referring to multiple choice questions in the lessons.

Actually, I really like this idea. Often when I get to these questions I attempt to avert my eyes from the answers so I can guess on my own. It would be nice if Duolingo automagically hid the answers until I was ready to pick one.

I use my hand to cover the answers up on the screen so I can think the answer. If I see the answers, then I'll check for the key words

I was thinking the same thing. multiple choice questions are a bit too easy. great suggestion.
