Error in Japanese announcement email

Like many I've been anticipating the Japanese course for years and am thrilled that it has finally arrived. Thank you to everyone who's made it possible!

But I nearly choked when I saw the announcement email that begins:

こんにちわ

when the correct hiragana is:

こんにちは

The "wa" should be written as "ha".

The email subject "Japanese is here!" with a body that begins:

Learn Japanese on Duolingo!

こんにちわ! Get familiar with Hiragana, Katakana and basic Kanji, prepare for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics with a special bonus skill, and never watch badly-dubbed anime again…unless you’re into that.

Please don't down-vote my post, I have studied Japanese on and off for ten years, I know that I am correct.
