What are some good free websites for practicing German? (Besides Duolingo)
I've been using Duolingo and Memrise together for a while to help advance my learning, but I've been wanting to add another website to the group. I'm pretty broke right now, so I can only use the free websites, (or ones like Memrise that offer a full functioning and teach you what you need but hold back a few less important features for people that pay) Thank you for your time!
Doulingo needs more grammar explanations, more listening comprehension and more writing. For those reasons I like Memrise official German courses, the courses in DW.com, Pimsteur (the audio courses) or Michel Thomas German. I definitely recommend a grammar book. Also youtube specially German with Jenny and do the exercises she has in the website, there is also German with Ania. For writing try to write and post it in Lang8. When you are ready look for a conversation partner. Good luck.
Thank you very much! I have two German textbooks thanks to my teacher, so that covers a bit of my struggle. I appreciate the website suggestions and will definitely check them out.
