How to Effectively Learn a Language and Complete a Goal Each Day

This will depend on what your goal in XP’s is. I have tried each XP goal and experimented with the best way to use each so I’m not doing any guess-work. Currently, my goal for each day is 10 XP because some days I do not have much time and do not want to lose my streak. Normally I go way over this goal.

If your goal is 10 XP:

I would learn something new; then, work on strengthening a skill, alternatively each day.

If your goal is 20 XP:

I would learn something new and strengthen a skill.

If your goal is 30 XP:

First day, I would focus on learning a skill. Second day, I would use 20 XP for strengthening and the other 10 for learning.

If your goal is 50 XP:

I would focus on learning for about 30XP’s and the rest use for strengthening skills.

Please remember that you can always go over your goal. I know I do! :D

Tusen takk!

Isn't that funny? I always start out with reviews before I move on to something new. If the reviewing goes well I tackle a new lesson. But if the review is difficult, I'm likely to just review some more rather than moving on to something new.

My daily goal is 10XP because I don't want to lose my streak. But I always go over my goal. I keep it at 10XP for the days I have little time to study.

I've finished the English Tree, and now I'm just strengthening skills to keep them all golden.

I'm also testing a 120 day schedule in which I redo the entire tree from the beginning.

(Hey, is anything wrong with my comment? Tell me if it has some mistake, please)

EPO, here's the text with a few corrections. Explanations provided below.

My daily goal is 10XP (1) because I don't want to lose my streak. But I always go over my goal. I keep it at 10XP (2) for the days I have little time (3) to study.

I've (4) finished the English Tree, and now I'm just strengthening skills to keep (5) them all golden.

I'm also (6) testing a new schedule, and redoing the entire tree every 120 days (7).

(1) Comma is unnecessary.

(2) The words "let in" are used as in to "let a dog into the house". But what you mean to say is that you are keeping your goal low on purpose. So I think "keep it at" is a better here.

(3) "no time" is rough sounding. Any native speaker will understand what you mean. But it is better to say you have "little time".

(4) You can contract "I have" to "I've".

(5) I substituted "to keep" again here for "I let".

(6) "I'm also" works better than "Also I'm".

(7) I did a bigger re-write here. If I was just correcting the words in place, I would change the text to this: "I'm also testing a 120 day schedule in which I redo the entire tree from the beginning."

About the "120 day schedule", it's like a script, a guide you have to follow every those 120 days. And the correction that you have did change the sense I have wanted to pass.

(Correct me, if necessary)

Ah OK, I see. If it's a script then yes it should be worded differently. Cheers.
