Yeah, nguo can mean article/garment of clothing (in singular), clothes/clothing in plural and also means cloth/fabric/material.

If you want to talk about a cloth/rag/piece of cloth you can say kitambaa (plural vitambaa).

Why isn't "vitambaa" correct? The word "cloth" suggests plurality, no?
