Japanese Reading Recommendations?

Hi everyone! I'm wondering if any of you have suggestions for books, songs, manga, articles, or anything of the sort that might be a good starting point to attempt reading Japanese. My skill level is somewhere between beginner and intermediate, and I don't want to discourage myself, so I'd prefer texts that are aren't too difficult to decipher and include furigana. I've seen recommendations elsewhere for the Japanese picture books that accompany Studio Ghibli films, which I love, so I'll probably search for one of those. Another suggestion was for a manga called よつばと! by Kiyohiko Azuma. Has anyone used these for practice? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts or any other suggestions you can provide! :)

I think your idea is wonderful. I was able to read a part of "よつばと!" You can try reading before purchasing. It had a hurigana. I do not understand manga you like. I think your favorite is more important than the level. There are many trial reading comics on the Internet. You can watch. Song, too.
