After starting Duolingo 181 days ago I finally finished my Russian tree
Finally did it. Just wanted to share my happiness after this achievement and hoping it to motivate others who are still completing their tree.
My initial reason to start learning Russian was that I always wanted to travel there. I have been once in St. Petersburg and there I realized how hard it is to do anything in Russia without understanding the language. I had booked a new trip to St. Petersburg and Moscow (actually for this week) and I just finished the tree in time for that trip. I am so excited to go there again to see the country in a totally new way.
My next goal is to read some dual language books (Russian-English) starting from books for children and advancing gradually towards the books of the greatest Russian writers (Chekhov, Pushkin, Dostoevsky).
Не забудь о писателе Льве Николаевиче Толстом. Желаю тебе хорошего путешествия :)
P.S. Rockman is one of the greatest NES games
Congratulations...of all the languages I have tried on Duolingo, Russian is definitely the most difficult. I try to do a few exercises each day and hope to complete the tree eventually after making more progress with some of the easier languages like Italian, Swedish and German.
Great Work! I get the impression that the Russian Tree is one of the more difficult on Duolingo.
