I love it. I went for 2.5 days last year so I decided to go back again for 10 more this October. From hot and humid Florida to cold and rainy Ireland... I'm so excited. (and I am not being facetious.)

As an Irish person reading this, this is hard to comprehend.

because it is 27ºC at 5:00 in the morning. I was raised up north so this heat is just brutal.

I also can't stand tremendous heat, but rain doesn't necessarily mean cool weather. If it rains after a hot day, it could be just as unbearable. However stormy rain hitting your window, while you are snug in bed is absolute bliss. I am guessing you are looking for that rain?

I'm looking forward to cool weather and if it rains, even better. I'm running the Dublin Marathon in October and I run best when it is cold and rainy.
