I have a question for people doing Spanish

So I thought you guys who are learning Spanish might be able to answer me best : ) I am a bit confused, some of the words are backwards, are they supposed to be like that? for example, "We have ties red" Instead of we have red ties. is it supposed to be like that?

Spanish speakers think exactly the same thing "why is this backwards?" if you stop thinking in your mother tongue and you start thinking in the new language you are learning then everything will be easier.

Yes, it is supposed to be like that. A lot of languages such as Spanish and French reverse the noun/adjective order.

Actually, German really doesn't reverse the adjective and noun (compared to English). It would still be: "Ich sehe das rote Haus" for "I see the red house".

Just a small correction, it's: "Ich sehe das rote Haus" (not röte).

Descriptive adjectives usually come afer nouns (La casa blanca), but limiting adjectives come before nouns. (Muchas casas blancas.)

it depends on your original language and the way they speak and how words are translated to how you perceive things to be backwards or not.

The standard word order in spanish is noun adjective. The adjective noun order is just used in poetry and music.
