Can I do two languages at the same time?

Hello. I hope someone can tell me if I can continue with my French but also start Italian at level one? Today I did that and it switched my French to Italian. But I don't want to lose my French.

And also how do I go up a level in my French as I am almost done with the entire programme twice.

Merci. Judith.

Levels and xp are counted separately for each language. Nothing gonna lose. But daily xp counter is common.

I'm learning three languages in parallel - I practice each language by "full circle" (i set it to 50xp), then switch to next.

You certainly can! Your daily xp is the only thing that all the languages have in common, the xp per level don't transfer from one language to another. And to level up, you need to spend more time in that language, just reviewing the course.

You certainly can. You don't even have to keep practicing French every day. As long as you don't let whole years pass without practicing, you will get back your proficiency really quickly when you go back to French.

Judith, from a neuroscience point of view, it can be done. In fact, assuming you have some education, you have already learned in parallel several, or many, things at one time.
