There's a small mistake in the article, though. He breaks up the Donaudampf- thing in two parts, but in a wrong way; dampf is considered one part, and thus it should not be broken up.
Other than that, curious opinion of that person.
John Le Carre, along with Tom Clancy, is one of the better geopolitical suspense writers.
I'm curious, are you not familiar with John le Carré? This is not at all a strange piece for him to write.
