"Tutti e due" o "entrambi"

If you also learned before that "both" is "tutti e due" than this will clarify things a little bit: http://forum.wordreference.com/showthread.php?t=53831

In short : "entrambi" is more formal way of saying "both" and is used not that often as "tutti e due" in conversations

Entrambi simply sounds better ;-) Entrambi is for masculine words and Entrambe is for feminine words. Eg.: Entrambi i mariti - Entrambe le mogli. Cheers!

Tutti e cinque (All five). So tutti e due is All two. Quite reasonable really: all of them and two of them = All and two = both.
