Tips and Notes on Mobile web browser are gone?

Sorry if this has already been asked, but Im getting quite frustrated.

I usually use the app to use Duolingo, and I would go onto Duolingo's mobile website to get the Notes and Tips. But now, it just loads a web browser version of the app, which means no Notes. This is frustrating because I can't always go on my computer to get access to the Notes (like when Im on the subway). I'm fine with them not being in the app, but I need some way of accessing them on my phone.

Is there something I'm missing? Did they hide access to them somehow? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I have seen the same. With the new website, you don't get the whole site on the iphone, only the mobile version. I have wondered weather this is a bug or a feature. I am happy to have an ipad as well, but i think there are many out there who don't.

This is only on the phones, I think tablets still have them. The mobile website has to be changed to the full website in order to see the tips and notes. Look for an icon with three stacked dots or dashes and you will get a menu, select "use full website"

Ok, heres where it gets odd. If I'm in tge forums, it lets me switch to the full site. If I just go to Duolingo.com, it only loads the web version of the app and theres no way that Ive found to switch to the full site so I can look at Spanish notes.

That's because the forums are still on the old web architecture. The tree is on the new; the appified mobile website seems to be the mobile part of the web rewrite.

On my iPhone, my conclusion is I can't get them. I can click the option to request the desktop site all day long in Safari, and it just doesn't load. Maybe it would work in another browser.

At least on Firefox it doesn't.

The website seems to react dynamically to certain resolutions. Open the Duolingo website on Firefox at your desktop and increase the character size by pressing STRG+'+' on the num block till the highest setting, then the website changes into the mobile one even on the desktop version.

Wow, that's crazy! It does this on IE and Chrome, too (although you don't need to get to the highest setting, in Chrome only 250% while the max is 500%).

Yes, this is correct also for Firefox, but I didn't rembember, when it changes exactly and because I am writing on a mobile device, I couldn't check it.

Before, when I reduce the character size in Safari on my iPhone, the desktop website appeared, but now it sadly do not.
