Words list "last practiced" is not correct

If i look at my words list for spanish it says that a lot of words were last practiced 2 years or 1 year ago, however I know this is simply not true. For example, the word "voy" I practiced today but in the words list it says two years ago. What is going on here? This is just one example of many.

This is a well known issue and has been before so on the old Duo portal code.

I opened several threads about strengething week words, issues of updates, not added learned words etc., replied to several threads describing and linking in more detail those issues.

I have not seen - ever - a single feedback from DuoLingo staff either acknowledging these issues or giving a timeline when they plan to fix them (1-2 weekend night sessions, lot's of wine, etc. may help ;) ).

If DuoLingo programmers have not fixed it by rewriting the complete backend / update interface in Scala, the bug obviously will stay in the system.
You just have to check if newly strengthened words on the new Duo portal behave better (updates, picking what words to practice, etc.) as it was the case on the old code.

Hi ralphonz,

Could you relocate this discussion in the “Troubleshooting" forum? Which is the place meant for such discussion. Thx!

Done! When I created the post it only gave me the option of Duolingo for English or Duolingo for Spanish...
