Hola

How do you say ''uplifting'' in Spanish?

I know what uplifting is, but I don't know how to say it in my own native language.

Motivador, estimulante, alentador or inspirador.

It's cool how comfortable one can become in a foreign language.

Hm... They probably just don't have a word for that in Spanish, maybe there is a equivalent in Spanish that means the same as uplifting.

That sounds really cool XD
I could say ''esta canción no es depresiva, es uplifting!'' (this song is not depressive, it's uplifting!) and the other Spanish speakers would be like ¿What's uplifting?, then I would tell them it's an English word which doesn't exist in Spanish and I would feel like a boss 8')

Yah, couldn't find the word uplifting in the Spanish translator. The closest though is alentador which means encouraging.

What about elevar or animar(se) as verbs? So something like Música que me anima, Música animado?

I looked it up in an online dictionary and "inspirador" came up. It also says 'there's no direct translation' so I guess the word doesn't exist in Spanish.
