ما الفرق بين at و in ؟
متى نستعمل at و متى نستعمل in ؟
There are many answers for this, but looking at the dictionary we get:
at: In or near the area occupied by; in or near the location of.
in: Within the limits, bounds, or area of.
People are usually using in to note a general location and at for a more specific location.
I'm in the building, at the front desk
I'm in New York, at the conference
I'm in New York, at the Empire State Building
Also the difference when in is used to indicate inside
I'm in the elevator = I'm inside the elevator
I'm at the elevator = I'm near the elevator
I do not know what you call it but I found "صف مدرسي",.Not school classes( for example class number 1) At school we have grades for each education level for example : I am grade ninth and my friend is grade tenth, it looks like, you've been going to school for nine years or ten years. If you don't still get it , tell me explain further.
I will try ^^' when the children went to school; the first year they learn the letters, the figures .. ect then they go to the primary; they learn reading; maths, history; french, simple sciences .. ect for 5 years; then there is an exam for who go to the middle school... in the middle school we add the Physics; Chemistry and English, we study 4 year ; then we have an exam too (and I am so afraid from it!) in the high school we choose between the literature (with the philosophy and languages) or sciences; we study 3 years then we have another exam ; and it is the hardest; cause whenever you have higher mark; you have more choices for what you'll study in the university =) sorry for this long respond ^ــــــــ^ what about you?
Don't apologize the respond is good. Well in Early years foundation is for children between 3 to 5 after that they go to primary school which is for 5 to 11 years old children and they go to secondary school from 11 to 16. At age 16 the students typically take exams for the General Certificate of Secondary Education or other Level 1/2 qualifications. I am also afraid of this exam, because it affects where we study (college) and what we study. :( In all grades we learn English, modern math, science, design, history, technology, geography, modern foreign languages, art, physics and citizenship. Do you wear any uniforms at school? If you don't get it I'll explain more.
