Questions/Feedback Related to XP

  1. I'm trying to reach a certain number of practices per day, but on the mobile version, there's no way to check the exact number of XP you've earned that day, as far as I can tell. Once I'm in the 8-12 range of lessons done, I find it to be a pain to try to keep track of the number lesson that I'm on, and it would be great to just be able to see where I'm at for the day right in the app. I think when you finish a lesson, instead of just telling you you've already met your goal, showing the "x/20 XP," for example, would be nice.

  2. So now I'm on my desktop/website Duolingo profile, and I'm still having a hard time figuring out how many lessons I did today! In the Daily Goal section, I have 130/20 XP for the day, which would seem to imply 13 practices on mobile. But then, on the weekly leaderboard, I only have 90 XP. It's Sunday today, so shouldn't they be the same?

Thanks for reading, sorry for being a little long-winded.

The weekly leaderboard resets at midnight GMT regardless of your time zone.

Ahhh, that is very helpful to know. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah the mobile version don't work good!

I can only comment on the second part. I just checked on mine and I show 215/30 for today but on the leaderboard I show 0 for the week. It seems to me that it reset for the week within the last couple of hours so my progress for today was rolled into last weeks points.

That would indicate to me that DuoLingo changed weeks while you were practicing so some of your XP are in last week and some are in this week. Just a guess as to what is happening with that XP situation!

The weekly leaderboard (and the monthly) resets (at least in my case, and I don't know why) at 8:00 p.m., while the daily section resets at 00:00 hrs (and sometimes at 11:00 p.m.). So it is completely normal.

New mobile version! So good! Thanks!! :-)
