Tinycards not recognising accents on words.

I just started creating a Tinycards deck for a language that I'm creating. The language has accents on some letters. There's no option for adding accents onto the cards in Tinycards, but if I write the word (with accents) in Microsoft Word and then copy and paste it into Tinycards, it shows up correctly, with the accents. However, if I then close Tinycards (with the deck saved as a draft) and come back later, all of the words with accents on them have disappeared and I have to type them all again (but then they just disappear again them next time I leave).

Why is this happening? There are accents in some of the decks that other people have published, such as Spanish decks, so it's not as though Tinycards doesn't recognise accents. So why aren't the accents saving in my deck?

What type of accents are they?

There are multiple kinds. Mostly just the ones that are like diagonal lines over letters (é) or little roofs over letters (ŷ). None of them are being recognised though.

Do you "copy and paste" them?

Yes, because there doesn't seem to be a way to type them directly onto the cards.

If you do that, then, after typing the whole word, for example:

Palästinalied.

After you copy and paste it, then you have to type anything, and erase it.
