Mysterious red spot
I was doing a timed practice, and I looked up at the progress bar (twenty segments) and above it there was a weird red blot on my screen, then it disappeared after a couple seconds. I think I've seen it before, and it wasn't dirt or a bug or anything like that. It was kind of a lopsided pentagon shape, and it was pretty small. I've seen it 2-3 times before as well.
Has anyone else seen it??
The way you worded that made it sound very mysterious. Who doesn't love a good mystery?
I should hope to encounter it soon (for no particular reason), just to see what you are talkin about and how it looks.
Rooby dooby doo!
When an image file has a function to change, e.g., an incomplete or unpracticed skill, the "highlighted" region will sometimes slip up when overloaded, if using an older browser, or when it simply cannot load the code as expected which handles the segments. A good example of this is when using the Internet browser on a gaming system. The browser isn't sophisticated enough to load these portions correctly, and thus, you're given a 'literal' mechanical visual for the representation of the skill being partially complete.
The progress bar? U mean the bar that colors a box green when u answer a question? Also, when did u see it? How many segments were colored in?
Yes, but it was an irregular pentagon shaped box above it that disappeared really quickly after I saw it.
Maybe it doesn't want to be seen. Hmmm....sneaky.
Maybe it wants you to find it or follow it...
a pentagon looks like a house..... a house usually has three bed rooms..... a triangle has three sides! Illuminati confirmed. O-O
I cannot confirm that a house usually has 3 bedrooms. They come with many different numbers, :)
How many segments were colored in when u saw it? And, what skill were u practicing? These questions can give me clues and i'll figure out what that is.
Just an overall skill boost. I'm doing those to reach level 25 fast. The strengthen skills button on the side.
Do you think it could have been your eyes or brain playing tricks on you?? that's what it sounds like... :)
yeah, ik sometimes the same thing happens to me when I am staring at the computer for a while and then look up, even slightly. Sue is weird!!
Maybe I was. I don't even know myself! (To be honest I forgot because I posted the comment 4 days ago)
UPDATE I JUST SAW IT AGAIN JUST NOW FARTHER TO THE RIGHT AND UP A LITTLE AT ABOUT 15 QUESTIONS COMPLETED.
It could most likely be what cicero mentioned. If you haven't read his comment, then I encourage you do so. It may put your mind at ease.
If it happens again, try taking a screenshot.
