Will High Valyrian get audio?

Firstly I want to say thank you for making this course! I truly appreciate all the effort that went into making it and I'm glad I get to learn Valyrian!

The only problem I'm having is the lack of audio. I wonder if it'll one day be possible to get audio added? Thanks.

I also found a memrise course that someone's been making that is based on the Duolingo course and has audio as well!

I hope that's useful.

I really hope they give some word on this sooner or later. The assumption is since Swahili should one day get sound Valyrian should too but I haven't seen any official statement.

doesn't Swahili have sound?

July 15, 2017

No, it doesn't.

I didn't when it came out, but was supposed to in the last month sometime. I assumed it hadn't yet but have not checked recently.

Hmmm, I though sound was implemented on Swahili a couple of weeks ago, I'll check.

Update: there was an update on the incubator from a month ago saying sound was going to be implemented but as of now there is still no sound.

I hope they add sound soon. It'd be nice to know how to actually pronounce everything as intended. :)

I am just excited to learn some now

They will probably have Emilia Clarke swing by and lay down the audio tracks.

July 13, 2017

That would actually be amazing. Great idea you have there!

July 13, 2017

Yeah! That would be awesome! I don't think it's gonna happen though...

I'm sure they'd just record her voice in something like Lyrebird.

The administrator of the course, which is also the creator of the language, said in a another post that he will be adding the audio as soon as the course is complete. He says he wants to finish it before adding the audio.

EDIT: Look for Dedalvs' answers to garpike
