Lingots vs. gems
On the app on the computer I have lingots. On my phone and ipad I have gems. My computer says I have 1454 lingots and I get 1 lingot for every 10 day streak. My phone says I have 1750 gems. And doesn't say anything about the streak.
Also on my phone is this whole Health thing, where you've gamified learning new skills. I do not like it. I want to go back to where I can just learn and if I get stuff wrong, then I can continue. (Not have to wait to earn back health, or buy more health to continue)
If given the choice, I think I prefer lingots. I'm not 7 years old, and I'm not playing a game. I'm trying to learn a language.
Ok, well that's weird. Actually, I'm 11 and I'm trying to learn different languages, and I'm not even in middle school yet. And my little sister is learning Italian on duolingo, and she's only 8! So r u saying you don't like the whole thing being like a sort of game? 'Cuz I love it! Still I don't know what to tell u. After all, I'm still a kid and games r my thing. But wait a second, I'm doing this on my iPad and I have lingots!

Duolingo's web version is also working in the browser of your phone. In the "mobile mode" of your browser it has fewer features, than in the "desktop mode" of your browser. But it is much better than in the App. It also has the lingots and NOT the disgusting health system and gems.
