German Tree is officially . . . . broken
I even made another post about this but it isn't there anymore.
Anyway, about a month ago I finished level 25 in German. I did about 4000 xp in 2 weeks. And . . . . it's been a month with 0 skills decayed
I thought give it a week and it'll work eventually but-
the time hasn't come.
Still completely golden, nothing decayed. Nothing.
I'm wondering if everything at once will decay and I'll be forever stuck with it like that or if maybe it will be like this for a long time.
I'm doing this in Spanish too, and already crossed 4000 xp in three weeks, and I'm going to go another 9000 xp over the next 7 weeks. Nothing's gonna decay for maybe a year :D
I'm not really bothered by it, I'm just curious if stuff stops decaying at level 25 or if I broke it by overusing it.
This happened to me too. Many weeks everything golden. And all of a sudden the golden balls got coloured. You can repeat golden or coloured lessons, it makes no difference. Happy learning and a nice day.
I think the DL-algorithms work perfectly well in this case. The programmers of DL consider 20 XP per day as 'normal', 50 XP per day as 'irre' (cf. the DL settings). You need 30000 XP to reach the highest level. Considering someone practising a language on a daily basis with 40 XP, you'll need 2 years to work through one course - including repetition! If someone practises about 300 XP per day that's fifteen times the workload of a 'normal' training. Someone that writes 300 different words and / or sentences a day without making a mistake, means that this person must be good at that language and therefore there's no need for a repetition so quickly. Well, your perseverance certainly is amazing. Have a lot of fun practising German (by strengthening) even if the moduls remain golden :-)
