This is an odd phrase... Möchten is would like and Mogen is just like, correct?

"möchten" does officially not exist as an infinitive. The infinitiv of "möchten" is "mögen". "möcht-" is Konjunktiv II.

Its a very unlikely sentence in english, but not incorrect or impossible. For instance it could be the beginning of a hypothetical situation (albeit a very strange one).
