According to the lesson hints, "kony" is "that one (inanimate)". Whether animals are inanimate or animate is left to the speaker. Shouldn't "Bony sȳz hontes issa." also be accepted as an answer?

I had the same question as double since a bird would animate shouldn't it be bony?

Is it that bony is only for people, rather than animates in general?

I've been seeing both animate and inanimate determiners used for bird throughout these lessons. If it's a typo, it happened several times.
