Buffalo? Rochester? Syracuse? Finger Lakes?

This area has a lot going for it as far as Esperanto is concerned. I'm just back from teaching at NASK and a participant there comment on one of my YouTube videos - upon seeing so many familiar faces in my videos - how lucky I am to live where I do with so many interesting and active Esperanto speakers around. I suppose I am lucky.

The current news is that the Esperanto Klubo de Roĉestro is going to be restarting regular meetings starting in August. Rochester is a great place for Rochester with TWO experienced former NASK faculty, many new learners, fluent teens, fluent men and women, and lots of people in the region.

The Syracuse Esperanto Society already has regular meetings with a good bunch coming out for snacks and conversation.

New York State is also the home of ARE in October - which in 2016 was the most attended Esperanto event in USA or Canada. This year we're planning all the usual activities, plus a class for total beginners, and a post-baza class based on the curriculum from NASK.

If you're in this area, don't stay hidden. Leave a comment. Say Hi. Come on out and meet us.

P.S. If you're anywhere in the US, here's a FB group which may be of interest. Leave a message there saying where you are.
