At the beginning of the lesson, I was told my answer was wrong.. Now it's right??? Make up ur minds please.
I might be wrong and I'm no linguist, but I wonder if brücke is related to the English word brook, where the meaning of one or both of the words has changed over time. The German word being a bridge, the English word being a small stream.
