Are there any interesting facts about word άσπρο, like word philosophy translates "love of wisdom" or anything else?
Well, not too interesting. ;)
The word άσπρο originates from Medieval Greek άσπρο(ν) which apparently, was a coin of little to no value. Άσπρον itself originates from the Latin word asper, meaning rough. It was also used to describe a coin that was recently cut and still had a rough surface ^.^
I write "the white horse" but it still counted as a mistake Did I get something wrong?!
