… Is there any information or any kind of statistic about how many Esperantists there are per age? I'm just curious as to what generation it's most popular with.

Esperanto has a 130 year history. My hunch is that most speakers discover Esperanto fairly early in life - say before age 35. In 130 years, though, some of those learners have aged slightly - myself included.
