I know in English, we would repeat the 'your' in "Is she your friend or your sister?" My question is does the ending "yako" apply to both "rafiki" and "dada," or to make the English translation smoother was the extra "your" added? Thanks in advance!

I think i English it would also be common to say "is she a friend or your sister?" which would translate well to the given swahili sentence.

Take this with a grain of salt, but I think so. Also, I might possibly leave out the second "your" in English although, yeah, it does sound better with it.
