Man, I'm not even halfway through these lessons and things are getting philosophical.
I think that in English we would say "When was the beginning of time" but I doubted Duo would accept that.
It is pronounced so fast it does sound like that. I've lost count how many times I have listened to that and other rapid fire pronunciations but now I 'hear" it. For really hard ones for me, I click the "Follow Discussion" so I can easily get back to it when I want to practice listening. At this stage of the game, there is only one left I just can't seem to get. My Google Translator on my phone sometimes translates voice into goofy nonsense but it has captured all these difficult ones. I make it a "favorite" so I can save it and listen to it away from home.
So that was in the past right so it should be when was the beginning of time.
