considering "e obligatoriu sa" is sort of an expression in romanian, yes, i would accept your appropriation. But it sounds a bit ad-literam, not something you hear much in english.

Can this be changed? "Mandatory" really isn't normal English. "Must", "have to" it is obligatory" are all better.

Can MUST be used?
- You must eat it all. - You must eat all of it.

The other translation, ”It is mandatory to eat all!” doesn't sound/look right w/o ”of it”, i.e., ”It is mandatory to eat all of it.
