How to conjugate with 'on'?

    Most sites do not mention this noun at all.

    Does it just follow 'nous' conjugation pattern?

    Although on can refer to we, they or somebody in general (you) it is always conjugated in the third person singular, i.e. the il/elle-forms.

    On boit du café après le repas.

    On joue avec le feu, on se brûle.

      So, is it correct to say: "On est déjà en aout"?

      (in next week i mean)

        It's a perfectly correct sentence. Everytime there is "nous sommes" you can replace it with "on est".


        No, I think for expressing times you use other (fixed) phrases:

        Nous sommes en aout

        Il fait beau (It is nice weather)


        Not the nous conjugation patterns - the il/elle patterns.


        On est, on va I am pretty sure it's the same as il and Elle
