Looking to improve my Italian through conversation
Hey guys! I'm 20 from Scotland, UK and I've been learning Italian for the past 4 weeks now. I'm progressing through my tree at a reasonable rate, but I feel that I need to practice real life conversations with a real person. So, I was wondering if anyone else (either Italian learners or Italian natives) would be up for that? Anything through iMessage, Facebook, Skype, written letters is fine with me really!
Do you have an insta? It's the only social media I have...I'm helping many Italians students there.
I am trying to start learning Italian, but I am mildly losing my motivation. I was hoping that you could help me on both levels I have an email, and I think that that would be the best way for us to communicate.
Some time ago, I asked the same thing to a student but she felt uncomfortable in leaving the email public, and now I understand that it's quite risky. Otherwise, isn't there another method to keep in touch?
You can try specific language exchange websites for more accurate and a more choice of people, but good luck :_)
The thebalance link is Lingot worthy list. Also, italki found an Italian speaker who wanted to learn English.
Once I learn a bit more Italian I will definitely be up for this! Great idea!! :)
I recommend HelloTalk also. It has it's quirks and you have to be careful, as some people are interested in other things besides learning language (shocker). Be patient and you can find good partners. I've made some real friends through that app over the past year. Once you get to know people, many are comfortable switching to Skype or other apps.
