Es ist die Konjugation von einkaufen. Das Verb einkaufen in der dritten Person Singular wird zu sie kauft ein. Anhören-- in der dritten Person Plural sie hören sich ein Konzert an Alternativ : sie geht in einem Baumarkt einkaufen.

You can't translate them without that 'ein'- it's part of the verb.

Einkaufen and anhören are part of a group of verbs known as separable verbs. You can read about them here:

the word einhören does not exist , it is anhören.

It does exist though. "sich einhören" (it's always reflexive) means getting to know something by repeatedly listening to it. It's rare and not really necessary, so don't worry about it, but I do use it sometimes. I don't know of a literal translation but here's an example: "Das Album ist echt gut, man muss sich nur etwas einhören." - "The album is really good, you just gotta listen to it a few times."

I just copied a typo. I clearly had unicorns on my mind. Edited. :)

It is the separable prefix of the verb.
