Great Replacement for the Immersion Feature

Many people were upset when Duolingo had to take down the immersion feature due to lack of support, BUT today while practicing I realized that there could be a super easy and just as productive way to get that kind of practice.

Youtube makes it possible for people to contribute to translations of videos in other languages. Wouldn't it be interesting for the Duolingo community to help in the translation of a variety of youtube videos? Plus once they've received proper translated subtitles people can improve their listening comprehension by utilizing the subtitles.

It's been a good substitute for me. If anyone is looking for a place to start, this channel has a lot of good vocab and topics for intermediate Spanish learners:

Who verifies that the translations are correct?

When the translation is complete, other people who know the language verify it before it goes online.
