"Di' grazie" (imperative) or "Si dice grazie" (impersonal) or even better "Il gatto ti ha mangiato la lingua, che non parli piĆ¹? Di' grazie!" (Did the cat eat your tongue? ...you don't speak any more. Say thanks!)
