Is this the correct audio? I hear something like "malimumu"

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/phb2013

That's what I hear too.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Whitney245264

Same, i hear mwalimu

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/BBazzle

I hear a poor tortured animal trying to say something like that. Is the audio weirdly digital for anyone else?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/boss355028

Yes you right I heard that

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/KajiaMsuya

It is Mwalimu ...a teacher. They do not match

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Rosie43465

Duo, please fix discrepancies between written and audio

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/ElizabethF711355

Make sure to flag it when there is a problem.

Does this come from Arabic's خدم(khadama) meaning to serve?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/shakir.mol

Every kh changes to h in swahili (some pronounce it as kh though) Khabar is habari Khatar is hatari Khadama becomes huduma (service)

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/RowanCampb4

I mean its not a coincidence

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Garry917152

Audio says "Mwalimu" - a teacher. Ironically, there is another phrase in the course that says "Mwalimu si Mhudumu."

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Chris705862

Audio doesn't match the text

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/labradore1

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Jrg955529

I hear something weird, too. Only every time this word comes up. Sounds like walimu and mhudumu overlapped, is the app trying to play two clips at once?

My page is stuck here. I'm putting the correct answer but it constantly tells me to repeat

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/AGreatUserName

This seems to be a general problem with Duolingo, not with the course. I've heard you can get through it by making a "typo", which it will accept (while patronisingly telling you that you made a typo) ... so try something like "mhudumo" or something.

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/maximilian357

From what I can tell: whenever it can be "she" or "he", if you choose to write "she" it will say "alternative translation, 'he'". But if you answer with "he" it will only show up as "correct",even though the alternative translation can be "she".

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/MfonUdoiny

The audio for this exercise (question) is messed up. It has both "mwalimu" & "mhudumu"

I thought it was trying to say something like teachers (walimu) but the other "mu" sound was throwing me off.
