Ideas for things to spend Lingots on

I don't really like having a mountain of Lingots and I'm hoping we can help the fine folks at duolingo add something into the next update!

Any ideas on ways to spend these little red hexagons?

Wager with friends?
More outfits?
Flash cards only mode?
Word search or three match mode?

change your xp setting to 1 xp per a day. Then buy the lingot double and do just one lesson a day and you'll get double the xps with little work

Double or Nothing cost 5 lingot. so if you had 30 lingots, and bought it, you'll have 25 left.

then do one lesson a day (just one is all ya need to do) for 7 days and you'll get 50

I think you only double the amount of your wager, not your total lingots. Wager 5 and win 10.

yes. You doule your wager (what you pay) not how many you have.

Then buy it again and have 45 left, do a lesson a day for seven days, and you'll have 90 lingots in just 14 days !!!!!!!

Double or Nothing actually gives you more lingots (if you were to keep your streak for a full week). Your spend five lingots, but ten lingots are given back, so you gain five lingots in the process.

Maybe a quest-like story in another language that requires lingots to unlock the next chapter.

Or a trophy room where you can display your tree completion trophies, and you can use lingots to buy accessories (trophy case, pedestal, banners, plants, furniture, etc)
