I'm looking forward to them teaching us negative-past-plain form. Then you can say "I wasn't warm" like this: あたたかくなかった。Try saying that three times fast!
A. Ta. Ta. Ka. Ku. Na. Ka. Ta.
I can't do this
This remembers me of a lesson from "Japanese AMMO with Misa" in which she teaches exactly that. There's a moment she goes like "Atatatatatakunakkataa" lol
今日は暖かいです was right for "It is warm today", but 今日は暖かいですか is not right here.
The same just happened to me.
Doesn't like me leaving off は, although I think I should be able to...?
今日は暖かいですか wasnt accepted!?!!??????????
暖かい can also be written as 暖い. So also should be accepted.
Is the a difference between "温かい" and "暖かい”?
The former is for objects, the latter for the weather.
On these tyoes of questions where you fill it in, I'd like to have the option to hear the whole sentence read back. Sometimes they sound different when you select them and I'd like to know what the whole sentence sounds like.
Can I also ask: 今日は暖かいなの?
