This is just a random thought. I don't expect it to be very popular or mind-blowing, but I was thinking about Duolingo while playing a game via Game Center on my iOS device.

What if Duolingo gave achievements to iOS users for certain accomplishments on Duolingo. For example, you could get 10 points for completing your first lesson, or for achieving level 5 in a certain language, or using Duolingo to learn 3+ languages, and so on.

I think the more motivation that users have to help them accomplish increased language fluency, the better. I understand the the Game Center points don't really do or mean anything, but I think sometimes people like to see their progress in also a point system.

Also, using the Game Center on iOS, users could also see how they rank between those in their state, nationally, and globally.

I just thought I would bring up this idea. It may be something users of Duolingo would appreciate.
