I just followed myself?

Apparently you can now follow yourself.

Of course, when you go to your own profile, the "Follow" button doesn't show up, as it has always been. However, I guess since the major updates, there is way to get around that.

If you go to the profile of someone that is following you, and then click on the list of people they are following, then it will show a list of users including you. Before, the follow buttons next to users' names were only there for users other than you. But now, a "Follow" button shows up next to your own name. You click that, and voilĂ , you are now following yourself.
This also happens to work if you are following someone, and you go to their profile and click on the list of their followers.

It even gives you a Duolingo notification and an email notification, if you have them turned on.

I suppose this is just a little glitch, and affects learning in no way, but should probably be fixed nonetheless.

You can see an example of this on my profile.

Following yourself is kind of weird, but a lot of people do it. Why is it a problem?
