Para vs. Por

Would someone mind refreshing me? I don't remember when you are supposed to use "para" vs "por" and what the technical differences are.

¬°Gracias!

There are a number of resources online for this. The differences are a little bit complicated, so I've found that these are worth reading. A short description that anyone can provide to you in the discussion might not be enough to learn to use them properly.

Thanks! For some reason it's easy for me to get it when reading and fairly often when writing, but not often enough. You make a good point.

It's very easy to translate por or para into English. The other way around is more difficult. The reverse tree, these links, and some exercises from a tutor finally cured me of any confusion about this.
