We should have the option to select from/to what language we translate

When I strengthen my skills I see that I am translating MOST of the sentences from French to English and not the other way around. There is nothing wrong with that but everybody's preferences are different. So I think it would be better to make the numbers equal or let us choose from/to which language to translate.

What do you think?

I do French from English and English from French and it's a helpful complement. Besides, none of them are my mother tongue, so I get keeping in my brain's "foreign language zone", thus my mother tongue interferes very little.

If you take the reverse course (English for French speakers), you will be translating most sentences from English into French. :)

I don't think they are gong to change this soon. This is because Duolingo is very much an introductory course. I recommend going with Usagiboy7's advice if you want to translate into French.
