Dia Duit! I was hoping if any of you guys could give me some tips or links about irish pronunciation, because it's very difficult to me to answer the listening questions, and I would like to be better at that. Go raibh math agat!

The fact that you might be listening to pronunciations from people who know even less than you do isn't one of forvo's strong points.

There is an Irish speech synthesizer available at www.abair.ie that might be a bit more useful than forvo (though abair.ie has it's own issues, they are more on the technical side than on the accuracy side), and the pronunciation database at teanglann.ie (http://www.teanglann.ie/en/fuaim/) is also helpful, particularly for recognizing some of the range of variation in typical pronunciations.

For a good overview of the basics of Irish sounds, and how they relate to spelling, this video is well worth the 15 minutes it will take to view.

Pimsleur CDs are helpful as well, sometimes are easy to find used on the internet bookstores. I got a set for a good price and listen to them in the car.
