Why doesn't High Valyrian have sound?

I noticed today that the High Valyrian course is completed. I was waiting till it was complete and no longer in the beta stages before I started it. But there doesn't seem to be any sound on it, and it's difficult to know how to pronounce any of the words without sound. Is this just an error on my computer, or is there actually no sound on the course? Are there plans to add sound to it?

There hasn't been any mention of adding audio to the course, but hopefully (sadly, 'hopefully' doth butter no parsnips) it will be released eventually. The course makers haven't mentioned any plans to add audio, unlike other course with no audio like Swahili, although they haven't added audio either yet. Maybe within the next year audio will be added. We'll just have to wait and see.

Thanks for the info!

David Peterson mentioned on Reddit that, while it may not be any time soon, he does have plans to eventually add audio to the course.

While we're on a language site, I might as well point this out. It's "whoa". ;)

Here's what I mean in case anyone's confused about "doth butter no parsnips":

They're waiting for Emilia Clarke & Jason Momoa to give their voices.

(no idk but it would be dope)

August 21, 2017

Jason Momoa spoke Dothraki tho

August 21, 2017

so they have to add Dothraki to Duolingo

August 22, 2017

I really really hope they do

Peterson mentioned that the guy who plays Grey Worm sounds wonderful speaking Valyrian. So I think it'd be better if voices were done by the person who plays Grey Worm and the person who plays Missandei.
