iOS New Update Confusion

This was a very new update. It added a streak bar. However I'm not quite sure how to get to the streak bar. The update description to press the streak/fluency/gems buttons, but those don't appear to do anything. I should also add that I don't have the lives thing, but nor do I want it. Is this related to that?

Having installed the update, I, too, can see no difference at all. Perhaps it is only visible when using the app to increase one's streak, or perhaps it's an A/B test we are not part of.

Same thing happened to me.

Not only do I not see the streak bar, I still don't have gems and health. It's really annoying being stuck on an old version of the system.

I know not everyone likes the new updates, but I'm starting to feel left out...

Would a lingot make you feel better?

You aren't alone, if that makes you feel any better. (You aren't alone even if it doesn't make you feel better, but here's hoping!)

If anything this new update is making more bugs. When switching languages, Duolingo told me to do a Spanish bot lesson under Dutch.

Same here, across the top I have language selection, streak and gems. Along the bottom I have lessons, health, clubs and store.

It seems I do have the lives and health, but I don't have the fluency part it talked about.

I think it must be A/B? I don't even have gems yet. I'd like to try these new features out!
