How long do you do duolingo per day?
Sorry for this silly question, but i'm wondering if you do more than half an hour per day or less. I usually do half an hour or 20 minutes, but when i enjoy it a lot, i just 'accidently' do more! Thanks!
I do about 45 minutes on the desktop site every day, which is how long it takes me to do two timed practices for each of the languages I'm taking. I usually fit in a few minutes on the mobile app whenever I get the chance during the day, like while I'm riding the bus or the train or I'm waiting in line somewhere.
It's not a silly question at all :D I've started a few days ago and I am addicted! :D I am doing usually about 2 hours a day but not all at the same time. For example, 20' in the morning, 20' after dinner (around 3pm) and the rest before sleep :) In the weekend I might do more since the TV doesn't have anything to see, and learning is more productive than staring on Facebook (wasting time there I mean :P) or in the TV :)
When I don't have much time I do at least 20 XP. That's less than half an hour. It's so much fun that I often practice more than once during the day. I would like to practice all the languages that I've ever started as often as possible. Aber meistens habe ich keine Zeit, mehr als zwei Stunden am Tag zu üben. Und das reicht nicht für alle Sprachen.
I usually have a few tabs/windows open at once and I often multitask. Therefore my time on DL is longer. However I tend to get around 100-150XP a day (sometimes lots more, sometimes a little less) which is around 10-15 exercises a day. I attempt to complete at least 2 skills a day, the more the merrier.
Less than 5 minutes a day currently.. hopefully more when Czech releases..
I do er... ( when I do not have time ) 10 minutes to ( when I have many many time ) many hours !
I haven't thought about it in terms of time, really.
When I started using Duo I set my goal to 20 XP per day. Then I started a few different courses and kept up doing 20 XP per day per course, plus any extra needed to keep all done lessons golden. If I was travelling, I'd stick to just 20 XP in my main language (German) to keep my streak up.
Recently, I noticed that it seemed possible to celebrate my 100 day streak with finishing my German tree so I have stepped up the pace a bit to something like 100 XP of German per day (but on the other hand not that much in the other languages). We'll see if I make it - 17 days to go and 54 lesson icons still to do.
