Would the English response be better as, they are fish, not elephants? Using "no elephants" sounds really strange, but would using "not" here be different in Dutch?
Yes, it should say They are fish, not elephants. Please report it if you can. I typed the Dutch sentence in Google Translate, and it gave me the incorrect English translation as above. The Dutch sentence stays the same.
