It is good for memorising vocabulary but not great for grammar

Memrise, as Qiunnn correctly points out, imho is great for memorising vocabulary lists, where Duolingo is weak. It' useless for grammar and word usage, where Duolingo excels. You can find the Duolingo German-from-English vocabulary list here. I recommend giving it a try.
