"The birthday" reffers to a specific birthday but not "your birthday" as the romanian sentence implies. "Do you celebrate your birthday?" Is the correct translation.
Even a literal translation from Romanian would get this right. It was reported at least 8 months ago but still hasn't been corrected.
You cannot celebrate "the birthday". You can celebrate your birthday, my birthday, his birthday or anybody's birthday at all, but "the birthday" simply isn't English. (Native speaker)
